In my opinion the perfect trainging ground for any intermediate or advanced paddler. A technical little run with a big water feel; waves, stoppers and mean eddy lines, the boater must use a combination of accuracy, determination and power to make lines. Canoe Control often uses the slalom site for intensive training sessions for 4* and 5* candidates.
A client produced his own video of a 4* skills session leading up to his 4* assesment.
Course run by Andy Bland and Rich Axon.
Production courtesty of Kev Lindsay, who, I'll add, passed his 4* with flying colours. Well done Kev!

Rafting Courses
Rich and I recently undertook our level 2 Raft Guide Assesment. The two day assesment consisted of two runs down the Ubaye and two runs down the Middle Guil. Both days were fantastic and made even better by the enthuiastic crew from Worcester. Some pictures displayed below:

River Update: 02 -07 -10
Everything is running on its grade. Loads of water in the Ubaye and the Gyre/Onde. The Durance is running at a nice level, last reports of the Durance gorge state 6 on the gauge. We ran the Guil yesterday and levels were fantastic, fast and pushy.
